Zipcar provides alternative to getting parking tickets

Sure, you're never going to actually pay those tickets, but they will eventually tow your car. This car-sharing program may be a good thing to try starting on your campus. It’s cheaper than renting a car and you don’t have to pretend to be 25 years old.

“Zipcar members can reserve a car in advance over the phone or online, then pick up the car at a ramp with a self-service card.

The service costs $8 per hour, and cars can also be checked out for $60 per day. Gas and insurance are included in the cost. Perks include special Zipcar parking availability, satellite radio and access to cars in other Zipcar programs across the country, including New York and San Francisco.” (WCCO)
